Shipal-Arai Bonemold Armour - Tamriel Rebuilt

A set of armour I made for Tamriel Rebuilt, a long-running mod for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Shipal-Arai is a lightweight style of bonemold armour used by Hlaalu mercenaries in the rocky regions of Roth Roryn and Shipal-Shin.

Based on concept art by Pickles. The helmet is based on unused Morrowind concept art by Michael Kirkbride.
Tamriel Rebuilt aims to seamlessly build on the vanilla Morrowind experience, so I did my best to replicate the quality and workflow of its assets. I hand-painted most of the textures, but used textures and meshes from the original game for the sleeves, spikes and groin for consistency with other armour sets. I created the cracked bonemold look by sampling sections of vanilla armour textures.
